Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a 5L synthetic brake fluid formulated with glycol ethers, alkyl polyglycols, and glycol ether esters. It contains inhibitors to prevent corrosion of metallic brake components and reduce oxidation at elevated temperatures. This fluid is designed to extend the operating life of components in hydraulic brake and clutch systems, ensuring safe braking performance even after moisture absorption. Special moisture scavengers help prevent the formation of steam bubbles. It features high wet and dry boiling points for reliable braking, excellent protection against steam bubble formation, outstanding thermal stability, and low-temperature behavior. The fluid also offers excellent elastomer compatibility and high lubricity for all moving components in the hydraulic brake circuit. It is miscible and compatible with high-quality synthetic brake fluids. Technical specifications include a dry boiling point greater than 260°C, a wet boiling point greater than 155°C, a density at 20°C between 1.01–1.07 g/cm³, a pH value of 7.0–11.5, and a flash point of 100°C. The fluid is amber, colourless, and has a shelf life of 24 months in its original sealed container. Suitable for all disc and drum brake systems, vehicle clutch systems requiring a synthetic brake fluid of this specification, and ABS brake systems. Can be used with all conventional brake fluid bleeding devices.
