Liqui Moly Brake Fluid SL6 DOT 4 is a fully synthetic brake fluid formulated with glycol ethers and boric acid esters. It is engineered to meet the demands of modern braking systems, particularly those equipped with electronic stability control systems such as ESP, ABS, and ASR. The fluid's high thermal stability and low viscosity ensure reliable performance across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for high-performance and safety-critical applications. Extremely high dry boiling point greater than 265 degrees C and wet boiling point greater than 180 degrees C for enhanced safety. Outstanding thermal stability and low-temperature viscosity. Excellent protection against the formation of steam bubbles. Superior lubricity for all moving components in the hydraulic brake circuit. Excellent elastomer compatibility. Miscible and compatible with high-quality synthetic brake fluids. Density at 20 degrees C is 1.06 to 1.07 g/cm3. Viscosity at -40 degrees C is less than or equal to 700 mm2/s. Viscosity at 100 degrees C is greater than or equal to 1.5 mm2/s. pH value is 7.0 to 8.0. Flash point is greater than 126 degrees C. Colour is light yellow, colourless. Suitable for use in hydraulic brake and clutch systems of motor vehicles requiring a synthetic brake fluid.
