For motorcycles, the seals are provided in pairs with a separate oil seal and dirt wiper seal that are tuned to work together, offering low friction for an improved riding experience and extended lifespan. For bicycles, the two seals can be combined into a single unit. Features include an oil seal and a wiper seal to reduce contamination reaching the oil seal, a specially developed NBR elastomer with lower friction characteristics, a wiper seal with an optional dual lip design for high contamination situations, and a new oil seal lip geometry specific to fork seals.
