TYGRIS ZINC GALVANIZING HEAVY DUTY SPRAY PAINT 400ML RUST PREVENTION
TYGRIS Zinc Galvanizing Heavy Duty Spray Paint offers robust corrosion protection and acts as an effective primer for metal surfaces. It is suitable for bare or previously galvanized metals and can be over-coated with acrylic, alkyd, PU, and epoxy paints. The high-purity zinc content (99.9%) provides sacrificial protection, ideal for demanding environments exposed to oxidation and salt spray. This dark grey coating comes in a 400ml can and has a characteristic paint aroma. Its formulation includes acrylic and alkyd resins, micronised zinc, treated clay, solvents (xylene, acetone, 1-methoxy-2-propanol), and butane/propane propellant. The flash point is less than 0°C, it is insoluble in water, and the dried film is stable up to 70°C. Relative density is 1.150. The laid down film contains 66% zinc with a thickness of 30–60 microns. It successfully passed a 150-hour salt spray test and is extremely flammable. Store below 50°C with a shelf life of 9 months. For application, shake well and spray from 25–30 cm, applying in light coats. Allow 15–30 minutes drying before over-coating. Disposal should be in accordance with local and national regulations.
