To measure the fully withdrawn length: Remove the slave cylinder from the clutch arm and carefully activate the master cylinder until the slave cylinder activation rod is fully retracted and withdrawn. Measure the distance from the bronze cap to the flange at the end of the rod. If the slave cylinder is dry, manually push the rod into the cylinder until the piston touches the bronze cap.
