PISTON KIT 04-05 KX125 54.00 B, NAMURA NX-20005-B. High-performance Namura pistons engineered in the USA, manufactured in Taiwan. Made with high-silicon content Hypereutectic cast aluminum for less heat expansion, tighter clearances, increased hardness, longer life, and reduced scuffing. Features machined, smooth piston crowns for reduced carbon buildup, increased horsepower, and fuel economy. Hard anodized crowns are 75% stronger than non-anodized, providing minimal expansion and reducing the chance of cold seizures when combined with Teflon/Molybdenum coated skirts. MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) coated skirts reduce friction and heat. Uses state-of-the-art CNC equipment and the same low-expansion, low-friction piston alloy used by major Japanese engine manufacturers. Includes an OEM style tin coating to assist the break-in process. B (.0004 in.) fractional oversize pistons extend cylinder life by renewing original clearance if slightly worn, avoiding expensive sleeve installation. Piston assemblies include ring(s), wrist pin, and circlips.
