The third-generation REV3 variable-rate throttle system features a slim throttle housing and an interchangeable reel system to tailor throttle response. It provides improved durability, simplified installation via snap-together elbows and billet adjusters, sealed cable boots for dependable operation, and cable housings configured for reduced friction and secure adjustment support. Features include a variable-rate throttle via an innovative reel changing system to suit rider preference and conditions with five-reel range and progressive cam option. Smaller reels offer a slower rate, while larger reels provide a faster rate. The slim REV3 throttle housing offers increased lever clearance and flexible housing positioning. An improved throttle stop adds strength and durability. Snap-together elbows allow for easier installation and reel changes. A cable boot keeps out dirt and dust for reliable, smooth operation. It is compatible with DirtControl V2 Lock-On grips and ODI Lock-On grips. The throttle is simple to install and maintain and is a patented design. Specifications include billet aluminium inline cable adjusters for ease of installation and adjustment. The lower cable section has a 5 mm housing with PTFE liner for reduced friction, increased routing flexibility, and lighter weight. The upper cable section has a 6 mm housing to provide solid support of the adjusters. It includes four interchangeable round reels: 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, and 50 mm, plus a progressive cam reel. Sportbike kits include the road race profile cam reel (orange). Off-road kits include the off-road profile cam reel (grey). The REV3 throttle assembly includes a throttle tube (off-road kits include the Titan Throttle Tube). Motion Pro REV3 black vinyl cables are specifically designed for the bike.
