Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating, with increased hardness and light surface porosity, exhibits superior adhesion qualities and extends coating durability.
