The anti-swell, alloy-impregnated cork-based friction construction balances bite, modulation, and durability under heat. Supplied as a kit including friction plates, steel separator plates, and heavy-duty clutch springs. Features include anti-swell, alloy-impregnated cork-based facings for smooth clutch take-up and controlled modulation. Steel separator plates are included to help reduce premature driven plate wear and loss of stack height. Swaged aluminium carriers spread load on the clutch basket. Heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by around 10–15% to maintain clamping force. Not for use with fully synthetic oil. Friction plates should be pre-soaked in drive-case oil before installation.
