Gas Gas MC 85 2021-2023 Grade C 46.96mm Flat Top Piston
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% Silicon, depending on the application. They are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by heat treatment. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available for increased hardness and durability. This piston is Grade C and 46.96mm with a flat top.
