HONDA CR 250 2002-2004 GRADE A 66.34mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process involving solubilization and quenching in hot water. Machining is done using CNC machines with diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a black Molybdenum Bisulphite coating for break-in and friction reduction, and a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, surface porosity, and enhanced adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston has a 66.34mm bore size and a single ring design.
