KAWASAKI KX 125 1994 +0.50mm OVERSIZE 54.45mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon depending on the application. They are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is performed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness and surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability. This piston is 54.45mm, is single ring, and is 0.50mm oversize.
