KAWASAKI KX 125 2001-2002 GRADE C 53.97mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12% 18% or 21% silicon content depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, with material structure refined through a high-tech heat treatment in an automatic implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities for the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston has a 53.97mm bore.
