KAWASAKI KX 250 2002-2004 GRADE A 66.35mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content. They are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging, followed by heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with quench in hot water. Machining is done with the latest CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston is Grade A and has a 66.35mm bore.
