Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools for specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction, and a Phosphate Coating for enhanced durability and adhesion.
