KAWASAKI KXF 250 2020 GRADE B 77.96mm STD COMPRESSION 14.2:1
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon content depending on the application. They are made using either a gravity cast or hydraulic forging process, followed by a heat treatment process in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is performed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools. Every Vertex piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new phosphate coating is also available, offering increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities for the molybdenum coating, extending durability. This piston has a bore of 77.96mm and a compression ratio of 14.2:1.
