Material structure is refined through a high-tech heat treatment process involving solubilization and quenching in hot water. Machining is performed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Pistons are coated with a black Molybdenum Bisulphite coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion for extended coating durability. This piston has a compression ratio of 13.0:1 and a bore of 95.98mm.
