KTM SX / EXC 125 1998-2000 GRADE C 54.21mm
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon. They are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes and refined with a heat treatment process. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness and superior adhesion qualities for enhanced durability. This piston is Grade C and measures 54.21mm.
