ProX Clutch Baskets are precision machined from heat-treated aircraft billet 7075-T6 aluminum alloy to O.E. precision standards. Hard anodizing guarantees extended life under severest racing conditions. The design maximizes strength through feature-aligned grain flow and utilizes as-forged features. This process produces higher mechanical properties and resistance to impact and fatigue. The hard anodized finish creates an ultra-tough abrasive-resistant surface, ensuring a long life of smooth clutch operation by eliminating wear on the sides of the clutch basket tabs. A special added Teflon coating creates a near frictionless surface for clutch plate tabs to glide upon. All ProX clutch baskets come with pre-applied thread locker fasteners and an inbus tool.
