PROX BLACK MX CHAIN 428 x 130 LINK. ProX chains are pre-stressed and pre-stretched to reduce initial chain stretch and provide immediate performance. All chains come with a clip type chain link as standard. This chain is specifically for Off-road, Enduro, ATV, and big 4-Stroke Motocross bikes. It is a lightweight, narrow type X-Ring chain using a QX-type seal, offering 40% less friction and at least 150% increased durability over a standard MX Chain. The solid bush inside the shot-peened, solid roller and plates are heat treated for incredible tensile strength, low friction, and high wear resistance. Inner plates are designed in a specific shape to use less material, resulting in a 3% lighter chain without compromising tensile strength, combined with unique lightning holes. Pins feature an exclusive treatment providing an extremely hard outside coating and a softer inside to increase strength while reducing overall chain wear. Pins are heavy press fitted and feature quad staked riveting for an ultra-strong connection. ProX Roller Chains are manufactured exclusively for ProX by a leading OEM factory in Japan, using the highest grade Japanese steel.
