Machining is performed using CNC machines and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons feature a Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction, and a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, porosity, superior adhesion, and double the coating durability.
