YAMAHA BANSHEE 350 ATV 1987 - 2006 GRADE E 64.95mm
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon, depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by a hi-tech heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and software, with diamond tools achieving specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex has introduced a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This piston is Grade E, 64.95mm.
