YAMAHA BANSHEE 350 ATV 1987 - 2006 GRADE F 65.45mm
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex silicon aluminium alloys (12%, 18% or 21% silicon content depending on application). Pistons are manufactured using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, then material structure is refined using a hi-tech Heat Treatment process with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using CNC machines, software, and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new, all over, Phosphate Coating has a slight hardness increase and light surface porosity for superior adhesion qualities of the Molybdenum Coating, extending durability twice as long. This piston is Grade F with a 65.45mm bore.
