YAMAHA BLASTER 200 1988 - 2006 GRADE G 68.00mm
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex Silicon aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity casting or hydraulic forging and then heat treated using an automatic HT implant with hot water quenching. Machining is performed on CNC machines with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion for extended coating durability. This piston is Grade G and measures 68.00mm.
