YAMAHA YZ 125 1998-2001 GRADE B 53.94mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. The pistons are made using either gravity casting or hydraulic forging, followed by a heat treatment process in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quenching in hot water. Machining is performed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction, or a newer Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, surface porosity, and Molybdenum Coating durability. This piston is 53.94mm with a single ring.
