YAMAHA YZ 125 2002-2004 GRADE A 53.93mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon content, depending on the application. Pistons are produced using gravity cast or hydraulic forging, with material structure refined via heat treatment in an automatic HT implant using hot water solubilization. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and reduced friction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion for the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston is Grade A and has a 53.93mm bore with a single ring.
