YAMAHA YZ 125 2002-2004 GRADE E 53.97mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. They are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes and refined with heat treatment. Machining is performed on CNC machines using diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a black Molybdenum Bisulphite coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion compared to the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston has a bore of 53.97mm and a single ring design.
