BRAKE FLUID DOT 5.1 500ML LIQUI MOLY - 21161. This synthetic brake fluid is formulated with glycol ethers, alkyl polyglycols, and polyglycol esters. It contains inhibitors to prevent corrosion of metallic brake components and reduce oxidation at elevated temperatures. Designed to extend the operating life of components in hydraulic brake and clutch systems, it ensures safe braking performance even after moisture absorption over extended use. Special moisture scavengers help prevent the formation of steam bubbles. Features extremely high wet and dry boiling points, excellent viscosity/temperature properties, high thermal stability, outstanding protection against steam bubble formation, excellent elastomer compatibility, and excellent low-temperature behavior. Assures high lubricity for all moving components in the hydraulic brake circuit. Miscible and compatible with high-quality synthetic brake fluids. Specifications include a dry boiling point greater than 260°C, wet boiling point greater than 180°C, density at 20°C of 1.04–1.09g/cm³, pH value of 7.0–10.5, and flash point greater than 100°C. Color is amber. Shelf life is 24 months in original sealed container. Suitable for use in all disc and drum brake systems, as well as vehicle clutch systems requiring a synthetic brake fluid of this specification. Also suitable for use in ABS brake systems. Can be used with all conventional brake fluid bleeding devices. It is recommended to change the brake fluid in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
