The paste dampens vibration noise and maintains rubber sleeve elasticity, preventing contaminants from entering. It offers corrosion protection for an extended service life. Specifications include a beige, hard paste form with a density of approximately 0.97g/cm³. It operates between -40°C and +160°C, briefly up to 190°C. The dropping point is ≥250°C, and water resistance is ≤1 (DIN 51807). The base oil is Polyalkylene glycol (PAG) with a lithium soap thickener. Shelf life is 60 months in original sealed containers. Suitable for floating caliper brake systems. If small quantities contact brake fluids (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 4 LV/SL6 DOT 4, DOT 5.1), no negative impact is expected. Clean brake pins with Liqui Moly Rapid Cleaner before application and apply paste after solvent evaporation.
