TYGRIS Cutting & Tapping Fluid Aerosol Spray is a high-performance lubricant for cutting, tapping, reaming, and turning operations. It is formulated to extend tool life and enhance machining quality. This fluid contains extreme pressure additives and corrosion inhibitors for effective performance on a wide range of metals, including stainless steel and titanium. Features include suitable for cutting, tapping, reaming, and turning, extreme pressure additives for difficult materials, high pressure foaming discharge for improved penetration, prolonged tool life, improved machined finish, reduced heat buildup, and suitability for all metals. It contains corrosion inhibitors. Specifications include a volume of 400ml, appearance of brown frothy liquid, viscosity of 300 cPs, and a sweet solvent odour. Contents include a blend of naphthenic lubricants, petroleum wax, bitumens, polyisobutylenes, xylene, white spirit, viscosity improvers, extreme pressure additives, corrosion inhibitors, and hydrocarbon propellants. It is non-chlorinated, has a flash point of <0°C, is insoluble in water, suitable for use at ambient temperatures, has a relative density of 0.840, is extremely flammable, and should be stored below 50°C. To apply, shake well and spray directly onto the tool area, avoiding hot surfaces and open flames. Disposal must be in accordance with local and national regulations.
