Features include anti-swell, alloy-impregnated cork-based friction facings for smooth clutch take-up and controlled modulation; steel separator plates to help reduce premature driven plate wear and loss of stack height; swaged aluminium carriers to spread load on the clutch basket and help reduce basket "dogging"; and heavy-duty clutch springs uprated by approximately 10-15% to maintain clamping force.
