END OF LINE PowerBomb Exhaust Header. Part No. 041344. This 4-stroke header system incorporates FMF's patented Power Bomb module at a precise location in the initial stage of the header system. By positioning the Bomb at this key point, the expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics through the system results in a flow increase of nearly 10%. The surface of the perforated core lets the sound exit into the absorbing material (steel wool packing) and then allows the air to expand, cool, and ramp back up at a higher pressure (RPMs). The Power Bomb is a pre-muffler of sorts, which helps to lower the bike's sound output because it provides more sound absorbing surface area to allow the exhaust gases to become absorbed. FULL DESCRIPTION

FMF PowerBomb Exhaust Header

Experience a significant flow increase with the FMF PowerBomb Exhaust Header. This innovative 4-stroke header system features FMF's patented Power Bomb module strategically placed in the initial stage of the header.

Key Features:

  • Patented Power Bomb Module: Integrated at a precise location for optimal performance enhancement.
  • Increased Flow Rate: Achieves a flow increase of nearly 10% by managing exhaust sonics.
  • Sound Management: The perforated core allows sound to dissipate into the steel wool packing, expanding and cooling exhaust gases for reduced sound output.
  • Pre-Muffler Functionality: Acts as a pre-muffler, contributing to a lower overall sound level by providing more sound-absorbing surface area.

The surface of the perforated core lets sound exit into the absorbing material and allows air to expand, cool, and ramp back up at higher pressure (RPMs). This component functions as a pre-muffler, helping to lower the bike's sound output by offering more sound-absorbing surface area for exhaust gases.
