Gas Gas MC 125 2021-2023 Grade C 53.96mm 12 Degree VHM Single Ring Piston
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex Silicon aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon content depending on the application. They are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by a heat treatment process. Machining is completed using CNC machines with diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating has been introduced which offers increased hardness and superior adhesion qualities of the Molybdenum Coating, extending durability. This VHM single ring piston has a 12 degree angle and a diameter of 53.96mm.
