Gas Gas MC 125 2021-2023 Grade C 53.96mm Single Ring Pro Race Piston
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex silicon charged aluminium alloys. They are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by a heat treatment process completed in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is done using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new, all over, Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities of the Molybdenum Coating, doubling coating durability. This piston has a bore of 53.96mm and is a single ring, Grade C Pro Race piston.
