HONDA CR 125 2004-2007 GRADE A 53.92mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% Silicon, depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, followed by a hi-tech Heat Treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools. Each piston undergoes a rigorous manual and automatic quality control process. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and to reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating, developed from Formula One engine advancements, provides increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities for the Molybdenum Coating, doubling its durability. This piston is 53.92mm and is a single ring race piston.
