KAWASAKI KX 100 1998 - 2022 GRADE B 52.45mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex (low expansion) Silicon aluminium alloys. The pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes and refined using a hi-tech Heat Treatment process. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating to aid break-in and reduce friction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness and light surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability. This is a Grade B, 52.45mm single ring race piston.
