KAWASAKI KX 250 1998-2001 GRADE D 66.38mm SINGLE RING RACE PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon, depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, then refined through a high-tech heat treatment process. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous quality control. Pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a Phosphate Coating for increased hardness and improved adhesion of the Molybdenum Coating, extending durability. This is a Grade D, 66.38mm single ring race piston.
