KAWSAKI KX 80(82CC) 1992-2000 GRADE A 47.93mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys, containing 12%, 18%, or 21% Silicon depending on application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, then refined with a heat treatment process. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and diamond tools, allowing for specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. This is a twin ring piston with a 47.93mm bore size and Grade A specification.
