KTM SX / EXC 125 1994-1997 GRADE C 54.21mm
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys, silicon charged at 12%, 18%, or 21% depending on application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging, with material structure refined by heat treatment. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes. Every Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. Vertex also offers a new Phosphate Coating for increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion and durability. Piston size is 54.21mm.
