They are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, with material structure refined through a hi-tech Heat Treatment process. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and software with diamond tools, achieving specific surface finishes for the final application. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, offering increased hardness and light surface porosity for superior adhesion and extended coating durability.
