Athena Forged Piston Kit B - 83mm Bore for Big Bore Cylinders
Enhance your motorcycle's performance with the Athena Forged Piston Kit B. This high-performance piston is engineered for Athena Big Bore Cylinders, offering superior reliability and power. Manufactured using advanced CNC machining, this piston boasts dimensional tolerances of less than 0.01 mm. It is constructed from a special high-performance aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, ensuring durability that matches or exceeds original equipment (OE) standards.
The piston features a smooth profile designed for optimized airflow and efficient flame propagation. Select pistons are further enhanced with a molybdenum disulfide coating on the skirt, applied via screen printing, to significantly reduce friction and improve both performance and longevity.
Athena's commitment to quality is evident in their rigorous testing process. Each piston is developed in Italy by the Athena R&D department and undergoes extensive testing on dynamometer benches under progressive stress loads, followed by track validation in extreme conditions.
