The piston skirts may feature a molybdenum disulfide coating, applied via screen printing, to further reduce friction, boost performance, and extend longevity.

Each piston is engineered and tested by Athena's R&D department to meet the highest quality standards, validated on engine dynamometers and in extreme track conditions. The included piston rings, produced in Japan with wear-resistant coatings, minimize friction with the cylinder, contributing to higher performance and durability.
