SUZUKI RM 125 2004-2013 0.50mm OVERSIZE 54.45mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18%, or 21% silicon content depending on the application. Pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes. The material structure is refined using a heat treatment process in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quenching in hot water. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness, surface porosity, and superior adhesion qualities, doubling the coating durability. This is a 0.50mm oversize 54.45mm single ring piston.
