SUZUKI RM 80 (83cc) 1991-2001 GRADE C 47.45mm SINGLE RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using exotic Low-Ex aluminium alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon content depending on the application. The pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes, then refined through heat treatment in an automatic HT implant with solubilization by quench in hot water. Machining is completed using CNC machines and diamond tools to achieve specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating offers increased hardness and light surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability of the Molybdenum Coating. Single ring piston with 47.45mm bore diameter.
