Vertex pistons are coated with Molybdenum Bisulphite for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating, developed from Formula One technology, offers increased hardness, light surface porosity, and superior adhesion, doubling the coating's durability. This piston has a 47.88mm bore and a single ring.
