YAMAHA YZ 250 1990-1995 GRADE A 67.94mm TWIN RING PISTON
Vertex pistons are manufactured using Low-Ex aluminum alloys with 12%, 18% or 21% silicon. The pistons are made using gravity cast or hydraulic forging processes and then refined through a high-tech heat treatment. Machining is completed using the latest CNC machines and diamond tools, allowing for specific surface finishes. Each Vertex piston undergoes rigorous manual and automatic quality control. Vertex pistons are coated with a special Molybdenum Bisulphite black coating for break-in and friction reduction. A new Phosphate Coating is also available, increasing hardness and surface porosity for superior adhesion and durability. This piston has a bore size of 67.94mm and is a twin ring piston.

Through a combination of gravity casting or hydraulic forging and advanced heat treatment processes, these pistons achieve a refined material structure that ensures long-term performance under stress.
